FAQs
Are the courses fully funded?
Yes, the training (selected Google Cloud courses) and exam fees (worth up to RM15,000, inclusive of SST) are fully funded by Yayasan Peneraju for eligible participants.
Do I need to pay anything?
No upfront payment is required. Yayasan Peneraju will disburse the course amount into the bank accounts of the approved participants. Participants will then need to make the payment to the Approved Learning & Training Institutions (ALTI).
Do I need a strong IT background to apply?
No, a non-technical courses like Generative AI Leader and Cloud Digital Leader do not require any IT or programming experience.
Can fresh graduates apply?
Yes, given that the participants have experience in IT or programming for the technical courses. However, a non-technical course like Cloud Digital Leader does not require any IT or programming experience.
What if I’m unemployed right now?
Any Bumiputera who is currently seeking a job or is unemployed is also welcome to join the training. The objective of these Fully Funded Google Cloud courses is to uplift the knowledge and skills in technology among Malaysian Bumiputera.
How are the classes conducted?
All classes are online and typically scheduled on weekends, making it suitable for working professionals.
What happens if I miss a class?
Participants will have access to Google Skills for self-paced learning.
Is there a deadline to register/ apply?
No, the programme will run until the end of this year. However, it is recommended to apply as soon as possible through peneraju.org, as the approval process may take more than two months.
Can I choose more than one course?
Under the “0% Repayment” scheme from Yayasan Peneraju, participants could choose only one (1) programme. But if you wish to enrol in more than one, you will need to apply under a different financing scheme, which is not fully sponsored. For further details, please refer to the official Yayasan Peneraju website.
What happens if I fail to complete the programme within the six-month timeframe?
As the selected participants, you may retake the exam if you fail or do not achieve the minimum passing score. Outclass will cover the cost of the second attempt. However, participants will be required to bear the cost from the third attempt onwards. Approved participants are required to repay the full amount to Yayasan Peneraju if they surrender or withdraw from the programme after receiving funds from Yayasan Peneraju. Approved participants are also required to repay the full amount if they fail to complete the programme within six (6) months from the date of agreement with Yayasan Peneraju.
